Pixel's Story

Honeybun was foraging in the Enchanted Forest when she came across a wolf. He looked infected with something Honeybun didn't have a cure for. When Pixel saw her he was amazed, Pixel had never seen another wolf in the Enchanted Forest let alone such a normal looking one. He introduced himself to her in hopes of figuring out who she was and why she was there. Honeybun being the herbalist of the pack was extremely worried for him and if one of the members got whatever Pixel was infected with. Honeybun introduced herself and then asked why Pixel looked like that..and if he was sick with something. He then told her how a couple of months ago when scouting for his pack he got lost in unknown territory. He saw a hunting group of wolves and decided to follow them making sure he wasn't seen. Pixel watched the group enter the portal so he decided to do the same not to long after. While exploring the forest Pixel came across a cave filled to the brim with water. He hadn't had a drink in days and, without hesitation, drank up the water not knowing the consequences. Pixel passed out and woke up with glowing paws and eyes, lunar feathers and spikes coming out of him. He tried hard to get rid of them but they wouldn't budge. He decided not to return to his pack, fearing the infection would spread. When Honeybun heard of this she instantly felt bad for him and called for Naomi. Pixel was extremely grateful for this since no animal he met in the forest had ever been that kind. When Naomi saw she asked what happened and Pixel told her his story. Naomi allowed Honeybun to try and help him but to be careful. Together Honeybun and Pixel went searching for weeks for herbs and information about how to cure him. They grew close over the days but with no hope, they decided to call it quits for now since Honeybun needed to return to the pack. Pixel was disappointed and thought he was going to be alone again but then heard Honeybun calling for him. Pixel ran over and Honeybun told him to come with. When they returned to the pack Honeybun explained that they learned the infection wasn't contagious but they couldn't find a cure. Pixel then asked if he could stay in the pack knowing his wouldn't let him back, Naomi said sure as long as Honeybun would help him get settled. Honeybun without hesitation said yes. Today, Pixel often works with Honeybun as a Herbalist often going foraging with her and they grow closer everyday.
