If you were to ask if Amber Stone-Shade was related to Ember she would chuckle with amusement. You weren't the first or the last to think of that. It is wrong of course, their personalities were different. Ember was always humble on his achievements and despite being very quiet would always help other's who were young and unexperienced with something. Meanwhile Amber was more talkative and stern as she felt if the young were not willing to learn she will let them stagnate while help the ones who are willing to strive to be better. She does not hide her secrets to the new scouts as she knows the fears and difficulties on exploring new land. Amber does not back away as she knows that her job is important, as to make the unknown known so that their leader and the others can face the possible dangers that the land brings and not fumble around blind to what might come. She takes pride in her work but she knows that age is catching up to her and that the younger generation will one day face those fears alone without her. For now she's willing to teach and grow the next generation on scouting hopping one day someone will go further than what she ends up seeing.
Amber is known in the pack history to be one of the First Scouts that stayed in the pack. She understands that her own pups will grow and just like her they have the urge to wander. She is not shocked that her sons and daughters leave her to find new land or a new family. She only wishes their safety as the world of a lone wolf is a hard one. Though she's heard whispers that another pack has taken in one of her daughters and is happy that one of her pups is safe.
