Originally a scout, Cream found herself intrigued with the idea of training pups while pregnant with her first litter. She became the Packs first Mentor and is greatly skilled at her job.

Having joined the pack around the same time, the two quickly became close friends. Back in her scouting days, Dust would often look for herbs for Bear while out on patrols.

Apprentice: Speck
Dust enjoyed her time training Speck and is proud of the talented Scout that he has become. The two still often chat about their days together before bed.


History

Dust came from a loving family, living with them for several years. however, when her family was passing through the mountains and heard of a new pack that lived there, Dust began to wonder what it would be like to live with them. She explained her feelings to her parents and siblings, and while they were sad to see her go, they agreed it was time for her to branch out and take the next step in her life. After a tearful goodbye, she went to find the new pack.

It didn't take her long to find them, Jet and the others greeted her, happy for her to join them. It took her a while to find her footing in the pack. She wasn't skilled at hunting, she found herbs confusing, and she had no idea how to help look after Snow's newborn pups. Luckily, Jet suggested she become a scout, exploring the distant land, and reporting back to the pack. After a few expeditions, it was clear this was the job for her, with her precise way of searching and reporting back, the pack got a perfect idea of what the surrounding land looked like thanks to her.

During this time another wolf came to join the pack, Cream. Dust found herself spending more and more time with him, enjoying his carefree if not scatterbrained personality. It wasn't long before the two decided to have a litter of pups.

Four pups were born, Sun, Caramel, Swan, and Sand. While pregnant with her pups, Dust spent a long time thinking about her role in the pack. Getting older, her bones weren't what they used to be. Traversing the territories every day was putting a strain on her health. After some thought she decided to become the packs mentor. Sure, she wasn't the best at looking after pups, but she could train them better than any wolf.

While she does miss scouting, she has faith in the pack's other two scouts, Speck, who she trained herself, and Ash. She knows they will do great without her and continue to learn more about the surrounding areas.

In her last few months, Dust was lucky enough to meet and watch her grandpups grow to adolescence. She is grateful to know that her legacy lives on, and that there will be so many of her kin to look after Cream once she is gone.

On the 7th year and 6th month of her life, Dust made her way to the mountains summit. Her closest friend Bear keeping her company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Dust was greeted by Opal, who gently guided her to the afterlife.
