Starburst

A sense of drowsiness took over me. I knew I had spent way too long in the Dreamlands. I collapsed onto the floor with a grunt and closed my eyes. Why was it so easy to fall asleep?


I bounded through the Dreamlands. A Cnitharian Wolf caught my attention. It was a pup. I yelped happily, bouncing toward it and bowed as an invitation to play. The pup took it immediately and barrelled themselves toward my tail, their paws gleefully capturing my tail. There was something wrong, though. I drew back my tail as quickly as I ran away from the pup. Suddenly, my tail started aching terribly. I turned back and realized it was on fire! A considerably large, purple flame was coming off of it. I booked it in the opposite direction of the pup. But the pup was still there. And my firey tail still persisted. I felt my ears begin to hurt, and soon each step I took made my paw pads hurt. I looked down to find that my tail and ears were not the only thing on fire. RUN FASTER! RUN FASTER! But I couldn't...


I rose to my paws with a panicked look, but everything seemed to be normal. Unfortunately, my paws, tail, elbows, ears, ankles, and pretty much everything in my dream was also on fire in purple flames. I didn't realize this until some wolf pointed it out. And it's stayed like this.


Starburst sniffed the ground, focused on the task. There were so many tempting scents around but Starburst ignored them and quickly found a herb that was shown during the lesson and brought it to Spirit.
