Unlike her predecessors, Fjolti Silver-Spring was timid, kind-hearted, and physically smaller than the majority in her pack. Making the average outsider deem her "unworthy and weak" to take the role of alpha and lead her pack, and Fjolti would agree about those statements, as her insecurities have always influenced her choices throughout her life. Even she was surprised at her previous alpha's choice, but she was chosen, as the alpha saw something in Fjolti that would save the pack and her lands from the incoming doom. No one would understand the alphas last words about the danger everyone was in, before the alpha disappeared into the sacred forest and become one with its spirits. Perhaps the previous alpha knew of Fjolti's clairvoyant abilities, and sensed them becoming stronger. Fjolti had many doubts about being the new alpha an leader, but she had many of her packmates to advise and support her, being at her side no matter the hardships that may come.
