"Prometheus slowly opens her eyes and drowsily looks around, carefully scanning her environment, this place was like nothing she had ever seen before. "Where am I...?" she mumbled to herself, she looked down at her paws, all of her previous injuries were gone, her Dream walker markings had also faded away, she was, in every sense, a normal wolf now. Prometheus looked around in confusion, a sorrowful look overtaking her face as she looked across the vast, empty field that surrounded her, a thick, cold mist clinging to the ground, as an array of lights and colors painted the sky above her. Prometheus tried desperately to make sense of it all. When she had last slept, she was at home... her baby Mineru curled up against her stomach, while her two older sons had rested with their heads against her back and her paws, she remembered feeling loved, warm, happy... but they were gone now, and her warm cave was also gone, she was alone, in a place that she was unfamiliar with.
Feeling the panic set in, Prometheus cried out, yet got no response. She let out a loud bark, but it was followed by silence. Her body trembled, for the first time in a long time, Prometheus was scared, she bolted across the long field before her, but felt like she was getting nowhere. at long last, she finally stopped, breathing in deeply and sighing, one last time, just one last time, she had to try. Prometheus stared up into the sky, the moon and sea of stars hanging above her, one last time, she threw her head back and howled, her call long and sorrowful, full of so much emotion, yet empty, and that's when she finally heard it. A response. A response that shouldn't have been possible. Looking out before her, with tears welling up in her eyes, she saw it. Staring back at her, with a broad smile across her muzzle, was the one and only love of her life. "It took you long enough" Hera chuckled, smiling warmly as she watched Prometheus process her emotions. Prometheus rushed forward, tears falling to the wind as she tackled Hera, the two held onto each other for what felt like an eternity, and yet, for the two of them, an eternity wasn't nearly long enough. She understood now, she must have died in her sleep, and yet she knew, that the ones they had left behind, their children, would do them proud. Mineru would become the pack's leader, her older brothers would be there to help her lead, the only job Prometheus had now, was to spend the rest of eternity with her beloved mate"
