He was raised with Cavern, Flame and many other pups in a small cave. He, Cavern and Flame managed to escape and ended up running into ShadowHunter who invited them into the Story Pack. He was chosen by Beach herself as the new lead hunter which he was shocked about because he wasn't as fast nore as strong as many other wolves in the pack. He loves pups and spends a lot of time with all litters he has. If he isn't playing with his pups of sending out hunting partys or hunting himself he can be found guarding the entrance to camp to keep everyone in the pack safe. When met at the entrance by a stranger he seems very harsh and unkind which gives a lot of wolves a bad first inpression of him. ShadowHunter liked the idea of having a camp guard and told Russet he could choose a successor from his line for the role of camp guard. Raven has graced camp guards with an eagle beak and hooves when they are born so the gods choose which wolves get to guard the pack. He chose his son Spruce who is also the camp guard to be the next lead hunter. He is very strict. Theme Song: Goodbye to a world
