Abandoned by her old pack, Croia grew up on the streets of the market, taking care of other wolves like herself, especially pups. She saw herself in the eyes of the lost puppies and made her living caring for them and asking other compassionate wolves to adopt them or to provide help if they could. One day, Croia asked a regal looking wolf is she might have anything to spare and so began her story with Clan Ó Conchobhair. The wolf, Queen Faoiltiama, was so touched by the young wolf's compassion and courage that she offered, not only help with the puppies, but a stable home to allow Croia to continue her work if she wanted it. Croia thanked the queen profusely and, having made sure her pups were in safe hands, traveled with the queen back to her clan. Upon her arrival, she met Odhran. Croia knew right away that this wolf was different. In his handsome face, she could see kind and gentle eyes. And in his encouraging and helpful words, she felt at home. She knew then that Odhran could be nothing else but her fated mate. She grew closer to the pack helper and, one day, when he finally confessed his love for her, she broke into a fit of laughter and she admitted to being his fated mate and his face only made her laugh harder. Their wedding night was all laughter and smiles and Croia couldn't believe that she was so lucky as to find such a gentle soul as Odhran. She only loved him more when he told her of their fate-mark and family crest. Two hearts overflowing with love for each other and their new family. She now continues her work of protecting the new pups brought into the pack and spends her days raising her family of beautiful rambunctious children with her husband.
