Thunderheart had traveled far and wide in search of a new home, hoping his wolf ancestors in skypack still watched over him after deciding to leace his birth pacl behind in search of a better path. By pack law as loner he could no longer go by his pack name of Thunderheart, but Thunder just felt to empty of a name to his ears. The full moon cast a white light over the strange woodland he had stepped foot in. The oaks and maples began to thin while the spruce trees started to thicken. Before long his paws were met with the softness of a spruce needled forest floor. Before him a slight clearing opened, in the light of the moon this quite patch of woodland felt peaceful and perhaps a bit like home. This, he thought, would be a mighty fine place for a lone wolf to live.
A new day dawned, rousing Thunderheart from his slumber...
