Ila'k'ra

Ila'k'ra Is a patient, no-nonsense wolf. She fell in love with Xhous almost immediately whilst on her journey, having a similar outlook on life.
It took her a while to be able to come back and formally ask to be his mate, as her family were initially against their relationship due to Xhous not being "leadership material". He proved them wrong by becoming leader of the sub-pack.
She takes her role as joint leader very seriously, and is somewhat harsh with her pack members. She has a strong work ethic which sometimes hinders her ability to be empathetic to struggling wolves. This is where her mate often steps in. Xhous has a way of explaining that softens Ila'k'ra's stubbornness.
Her pups have mostly all left, many having the slightly more relaxed outlook of their father. Only one remains as heir to the sub-pack; a diligent young wolf named Xhoukan.
Though few will admit it to her or her mate's face, everyone considers Ila'k'ra to be more of a leader to the sub-pack than Xhous, despite her harsh methods.
