In her youth, when she was still bright-eyed and optimistic, Firefly had a blooming romance with Typhoon. After an extremely short courtship, the two became mates before realizing that they were both extremely unhappy and Typhoon's affections had wandered elsewhere. They broke their pair bond shortly after.
Firefly fled deep into the dark Lunar Forest and founded her own pack. Over the years Firefly's bitterness grew, and a vicious rivalry began to form between the Forests and the Peaks.
