Obsidian Root

During the lesson: Nova stuffed herbs into her mouth and chewed them into a paste. She spit the wad into a paw and dabbed it onto a leaf, showing Obsidian Root the proper technique.

During the lesson: Every time Obsidian Root found the toy, she was allowed to play with it for a bit. Sal is sure that rewarding her technique will be beneficial for her growth.

During the lesson: Obsidian Root practised her voice in a remote spot, a bit ashamed to howl in front of other pups and adults. She didn't feel ready yet.

During the lesson: Kelly arranged a lesson where all the puppies roleplayed the life of a pack, changing roles on Kelly's signal. Obsidian Root experienced being a leader but also a subordinate, and realized that every role has its purpose.

During the lesson: Leaves? Rocks? Underbrush? Twisted tree stump? Eroded slope? Obsidian Root learned to use any environment and its features to camouflage successfully.
