Selar, she is beauty, she is grace, she got blue glowing stuff on her face.

For years, Selar had been there for Blaze for everything. Every argument, every bear attack, every goat invasion, everything! Selar trusted Blaze's judgement as much as Blaze trusted Selar's suggestions. They were practically sisters. One day, Selar noticed how Blaze moved, how she spoke, and how she acted. It was odd... Blaze had grown bitter as time grew longer, but Selar never said anything because Blaze was Reliable. Blaze would come to Selar if Blaze had something wrong going on with them.

But one day, when Vanguard came home from a solo hunt. She came home pregnant. Selar never told Blaze that the father was from a different pack than Blaze's content because Vanguard was Selar's daughter. Selar loved her children. So when Vanguard asked Selar if she could ask Blaze to keep Vanguard's first litter of pups Selar easily bent to the request.

The talk Blaze and Selar had was... Unnerving... Blaze seemed so different-- as if Blaze was a different wolf entirely. And what Blaze said about Copper Clover... it was almost like Blaze had killed Copper. After Selar told Vanguard that she could only keep one of her puppies, Selar trotted over to Mae in order to find out what truly happened to Copper Clover.

With her newfound information, she ran to Blaze's Den. "Blaze. I know what you did." Selar's voice was angry. "I know you killed Copper." she didn't, but she had a suspicion.

Shocked, Blaze snapped to Selar, looking mad. So Selar was right. "Did Mae tell you that?"

"No, but you wanted to punish Mae, you wanted someone younger than Copper so you could twist them under your paw. So you sent that lunar grizzly to kill Copper."

Blaze's snarl turned into sadness. "... you know, I always considered you a sister. You were my best friend. My closest ally, my pride and joy, but you're too smart. I was hoping you'd die thinking I was your friend. But I'll tell Vanguard's kid you did everything you could for them."

"What? You believe I'll let you kill me? If you do everyone will know you're a killer, you'd be a fool to try anything."

"Oh, nononono." Blaze laughed, "I don't have to do anything. Too bad you couldn't figure out my secret before you died."

"You're using past tense even though I'm right in fro--" Selar's chest hurt, causing her to gasp for air. "wuh-" Selar collapsed on the floor, on her side, she couldn't breathe. Her vision blurred as tears formed in her eyes, darkness etching the edges of her eyes. Selar looked up at the figure approaching her-- laying next to her.

"Goodbye," Blaze's voice was soft, kind, it stung knowing the truth, "old friend." Blaze's voice echoed as it all went black.

Voices of others flooded her ears, they all sounded familiar. One gasp of air later and Selar found herself in a different place, Selar was laying in a world of pitch black. Looking around she saw all those who died. But rotten, they rotted away. Chai, Copper, Michela, Tammy, Kimagure, Mistltoe. They're all here. There's no afterlife. There's only darkness for those who stay in Breezy Demons.
