Silver

Silver found his way to the Hollowed Wood Pack through pure luck. A pack had invaded the territory, and was going to kill all of the pups in his pack. His mother told him to run. And so he did. He ran, and ran. He ran until the trees grew taller, and the sounds of the forest seemed to disappear. It was like this part of the forest had been hollowed out.

There was a beautiful female wolf standing a few yards from him. "So you have found your way to this accursed place. Well then, I suppose you should join my pack. It is not safe out here alone." She shot a furtive glance around. "There are things in these woods that hunt wolves." An unearthly howl echoed over the two wolves. Sliver shuddered. 

The female alpha seemed increasingly wary. "Come quickly. Before it reaches us."

"Before what reaches us?"

"It has no name. If it did, the name would not be spoken. Now come." She barked. She turned and ran. He followed. Eventually, she slipped through a hole in a wall of bramble that encircled a small hollow. There were a few wolves sitting around, eating prey. "Welcome to the Hollow Wood Pack."
