Um-un-un

A strange and quiet wolf, with no ties to nearby packs. Little is known about him, except that he appeared on the edge of the river one day, half-drowned and asking to speak to "the sand-wolf".

Once recovered, Um-un-un reveals that he has knowledge about the humans who have kept the pack on edge since the collaring incident. This leads to a divide among the Coal Valley wolves, with some wary of how conveniently he showed up at exactly the right place and time to 'help' them.

Yai is wary, but sees his inclusion in the pack as a necessary risk for now, and has him watched carefully by his half-brother Xhous's sub-pack.
