Ah, Cold-Cats. Strange name I must say, but who am I to judge, reader?
Cold-Cats is the 3rd leader of the Growler Pack. 2 years ago, she was escorted to the isolated Growler Pack by [REDACTED]. Before that, she was a traveler accompanied by her feline familiar, Spooky. [REDACTED] had sent her an invitation to visit the Growler pack. I suspect they did this because they knew Albion was getting closer to retirement. A majority of us saw no leadership qualities in her whatsoever. However, I assume [REDACTED] saw something in her that the rest of us did not. What he saw exactly, I could not tell you even if I tried, reader.
Cold and Albion ended up getting along well. She was becoming quite popular with everyone in the Growler pack. However, this wasn't the life for her and her feline friend. They wanted to travel. They wanted to see the world and all the wonders that it held. She made this very clear. On the 12th of August, she had planned to leave that night. However, a few hours before she left, as she was saying her goodbyes to everyone, Albion had a fatal seizure. Unfortunately, there was nothing our herbalist was able to do to save him. The death of Albion weighed down heavily on everyone, including Cold. Cold and Albion had grown close during her stay.
This would've been a darker time for the Growler pack had Cold not been there. There was no one who was able to step up and take his leadership position. So Cold took it.
Why? Your guess is as good as mine, reader. Many had tried to convince her to go back to traveling, and that she did not need to stay for them, but she insisted. And ever since then, she had proved herself a worthy and capable leader. 2 years later, nobody knows why she had given up her life of freedom for a pack she had spent only 2 months with.
