Eelsplash is strong willed and smart wolf. He has been apart of the pack from the beginning, serving under Cypressstar. He never assumed he would be deputy, especially being an older wolf. He was pleasantly surprised when Flamestar decided to choose him rather than one of the younger warriors. He is happy to help and is the young leaders voice to the older wolves.
He understands why some of his friends doubt Flame as leader, but he can also see how the younger wolves look up to him and he is happy to help convince the others to trust him.
Being a deputy is fine for him, he doesn't mind it as the others trust him. He does wonder who will be Deputy after him. He plans to talk to Flame about it and give some suggestions. He understands that he is older and he hopes to retire and help his mate with his future pups.
