When the pack woke up the following day rather than falling asleep for another few years they found themselves somewhat confused. for the first time in years, the pack didn't go into a deep slumber. Blaze Buwrn had explained that it was because the world needed the pack to help those in need. Missing wolves had been reported all around wolvden, Blaze knew what this meant. Coigreach. The event came back up and the other-worldly being who controlled when Breezy Demons fell into a deep slumber had chosen to participate.

This ruined Blaze's plans, actually, instead of having plenty of time to sort everything out before she died. She was forced to rush... Blaze was stressed, she had known for a long time Brick Buwrn knew something was off with her, and now... Blaze suspects Brick will try to foil her plans after she dies. Brick would have to be dealt with... Permanently...

Blaze had tried many attempts to get rid of Brick-- (Sending Brick and her hunting group on more and more dangerous hunts, giving Brick rotten food long past its expiration date, purposely making Mae Clover force her apprentices to create remedies to cure food poisoning--) but unfortunately Blaze had mentored Brick too well... Brick was used to being thrown into battles she knew she couldn't win, Brick had been eating rotten food in case of leader assassinations since she was a pup, Brick was taught beside Mae during her growing years and made her own food poisoning remedies...

While planning her next scheme she figured the best way to shut Brick up for good was to make sure something happened to her best friend Mae, Blaze was interrupted by her second in command: Selar Umamis. Selar had been with Blaze almost since the beginning but they had both grown old-- they both had grandkids and Selar came to Blaze this fateful night to ask if her daughter's daughter could stay within the pack instead of being sent off to the enclave.

Selar... Blaze would do anything to make her happy... But Blaze- heh- she was stressed, she could barely afford to have another permanent mouth to feed. Blaze was worried about her mate croaking, what Brick would do or say after Blaze had died, and who would be Blaze's heir to the throne. She didn't have the time or energy to deal with this.

Blaze threateningly walked slow, methodical circles around Selar, her head below her shoulders as she examined the old wolf in front of her. "Selar... You know why I let you keep Dulled, Doubull and Vanguard... correct?"

Selar's ears fell back as Blaze said Vanguard's name "N-... no? It was because I asked... wasn't it?" Selar responded, clearly concerned-- afraid of Blaze... Good...

"Yes, but..." Blaze raised her head while looking at the matted flooring, kicking away some dried blood and leftover bones. "Also no... you see, I let you keep them-- I let them stay because you are old... I didn't think you would have another litter to bear pups too. I feared that another case of Copper Clover would happen... but with you" Blaze got up and personal with Selar- got right up into her face as Blaze said this next bit: "Vanguard is young, I could let Vanguard's puppies stay... but at what cost? You don't want another case of Cirik to happen... do you?" Every word struck like Venom, said with such spite and disinterest... not very leader supportive like but who cares.

Selar took a step back as Blaze said the name Cirik... Selar's first child... He died long ago for Selar's liking... "No- no of course not, but it would mean the world to my baby-- Vanguard. It's her first litter, can't you do this for her? like how you did with me?"

Selar's eyes spoke wonders if not her voice. Blaze stared at Selar with unmoving, dead, yellow eyes. Blaze could never say no to Selar... "Fine... but just like you, she may only keep one pup. Tell her to choose wisely."

With that said Selar thanked Blaze plenty, before Selar left she asked Blaze one last thing. "What... what happened to Copper Clover? Before she died?"

Side-eyeing Selar, just wanting her to leave, Blaze responded with spite, "I took care of her once and for all... if you want more details you can ask Mae, She knows what happens when you disobey direct commands with the leader..."

Blaze was tired, it had been too long since her pack wasn't put under a deep slumber. Blaze had finally had the perfect thought to get rid of Brick, trauma. She had to thank Selar for the talk they had last night. Whenever Mae had a secret Blaze knew Mae would spill, Blaze would just remind Mae of what happened the last time Mae had broken direct orders from the pack leader. It would shut Mae up instantly... which was hard because Mae is just a blabbermouth.

The plan was to kill Sashami Dvesto... Brick's first Pup and it would be easy to plan Sashami's death because Sashami was wrapped around Blaze's little toe... it's only a matter of when...

Blaze Buwrn called Sashami Dvesto to the leader's cave, the Buried Horde has been deprived of its constant bloodlust. The blob of darkness which causes the pack to enter a lifelong rest, usually when pups go "enclaved" they're actually thrown into the living pit known as "The Buried Horde." Sometimes the pups escape and make it to another pack, but the pups would be too young to be taken seriously. Probably told it was just a nightmare. Sometimes the pups don't even remember what their life was like before escaping the blob of bloodlust, which was even better.

But that's beside the point, sort of, Sashami was going to be thrown into the horde. Little did anyone know the horde lived under the leader's den. The Sashami Brick knew will no longer exist. Not anymore!

Blaze will have her heir to the throne, Blaze will have her new host... Stronger, Smarter, and Faster than the body she lives in now. Blaze's old bones are starting to take a toll on her as her body mulls through her last days in this dreadful world, forced to serve a dreadful hunger.

It worked, HahahAHAH, Sashami's gone and Brick is pregnant. Blaze will have her heir, and her story may continue. Blaze wondered what her new body would look like, but didn't really care. No preference, maybe a male. That would be fun. But as she thought, A certain wolf came to her. Selar. Farewell... Old friend.

it happened, they were born. 3 new possible vessels, only one male. Luckily he's the strongest. Not the prettiest but. He'll do. Basil Buwrn. I wonder what new possibilities will happen when she became Him.
