Wren finds herself in a peculiar situation. She was once a secondary partner to Cairhorn, who in the beginning was still finding his bearings as a leader, and hadn't really connected with now mate Thicket on a romantic level. He'd been lonely, as had she, and so they... had fun. What resulted was a few heartbreaks with lost pups, and one lucky survivor, her daughter Cranberry. She later mated to Miner, but then they drifted apart. After that, she connected with Cedar... Who is one of Cairhorn's sons. She feels a bit insecure about it all sometimes, especially since her new litter had been born, but Cedar's determination and genuine love and care for her has kept her from spiraling into a crisis. And Cairhorn had given his blessing for Cedar to pursue her, after an apparently lengthy discussion that lasted days, so perhaps things aren't as weird as she fears? At least not in their case. Still, she finds it a little odd that she's going to need to explain to her pups that their eldest sister is also, technically, their aunt. Hm.
