[French]; Definition: "The Moon Sings"

The second-born son of Queen Amira's 5th litter, La-Lune comes from a short lineage of rich nobility, with his mothers' pack being allied with many of equal power. One such pack was Clemensly. As a token of their friendship, and to promote unity between their packs, Euphrates was promised a son of Amira's to be the mate of her chosen heir. Thus, when he was still a young pup, just barely weaned of his mother's milk, La-Lune had to say goodbye to his birth-pack, and went to live among the wolves of Clemensly.

Although Queen Euphrates was more than kind, and La-Lune was treated as the royalty he was, he still held sorrow. He missed his mother, his sister, and half-siblings, and dreams of a world where they did not have to part. At dead of night he frequently sneaks away, to a place he has made his sanctuary, and howls his sorrows to the moon, first for comfort, but then it became a comforting act in itself. Singing sorrowfully to the moon, a wolf whose pelt resembled a swirling night sky, and thus the moon, moved by his sorrow, granted this young male some of her gifts, but most importantly, granted him his name...
