Miasma 🐾

Miasma is quiet and cynical, and she really prefers to be left on her own. As a scout, she spends most of her time wandering the wilderness with nothing but her own thoughts for company. She tends to mutter to herself as she walks, and keeps up the habit even when she’s resting back in her home territory. Those who lean in too close to listen can expect a nip on the ear, so it’s best not to eavesdrop on her rambling.

Miasma dislikes bubbly and overly talkative wolves, which sours her to a good number of her packmates. Still, she has a few close friends whose conversation she can tolerate. She doesn’t suffer fools gladly, and always has a sharp retort on paw. Don’t ask stupid questions, especially when she’s tired. She can get a bit snippy, and isn’t the most patient wolf.

She does make a begrudging exception for pups. They’re young and curious, still learning about the wide world around them. While she doesn’t seek out their company, she won’t snap at puppies who badger her with questions about the different territories she’s explored. After a few minutes Miasma will be looking pleadingly to the sitters for aid, though.

Fever named Miasma for the signature scent of the ill. She’s not pleased with the name, but doesn’t protest. The two don’t really get along, and the only reason Fever has allowed such a curmudgeon in her happy pack is that Miasma usually isn’t around to bring the others down.
