An Erg is a desert sand sea, quite large. The Sahara is one. I swear she is not an expansive, ever-shifting landscape.

Erg adored Aridaz from the moment her eyes opened. He was a capable wolf. She wanted to be like him. This desire grew into full infatuation, and eventually even love! The feeling was not mutual and Erg was no fool, not really.

When not tailing Aridaz (partially because it is fun to annoy pup-set friends~), Erg befriended Rai and Drift. She admired Rai's quickness and Drift's care for others. There was no wolf Erg did not like, much like the beloved Friend. They were not particularly close, but they did not need to be to appreciate each other and the Collective as a whole.

Erg's mother and her best love, Aridaz, may not have initially welcomed her, but she did not feel the need to do the same to anyone.

Warning: Unwanted Themes Erg knew from the time she could hear that her mother was uncomfortable with her pups. Initially, the young wolf tried to garner favor with Egg Bandit: successful retrieval of an egg, for instance. Her mother still huffed and displayed unease. The older she became, Erg noted her mother's fur flatten, ears perk up - all signs of discomfiture waned.

However, Erg still had to learn from other wolves how this made any sense. Aduilc gruffly mentioned Egg Bandit had always been that way, as did Friend (though, more empathetic). Aduilc pointed out healers were best to ask so Erg bothered Crimson. Crimson enveloped Erg in a wolf-equivalent hug. Nothing more was needed. Crimson did sketch into the soft sandy earth later a warning - something about an overripe apple and a steep hill, but the meaning was lost on Erg.

Some wolves would have said Erg was a glutton for punishment, pining after Aridaz as she had, but few would realize she knew him to be lonely, too.
