Aether

Aether was the first to join Gaea's pack and lived as a traveling wolf during her life. She had no mate, but gave birth to a few litters of pups, including Selene, Hyperion and Theia's youngest daughter, and Hermes, the daughter of Maia and Zeus.
She had a love for adventure and was always eager to share her knowledge and stories with the rest of the pack, particularly the pups.
She maintained a friendly and loving relationship with Selene and Hermes, despite the fact that her traveling prevented her from raising them. Before her death, she gave her decor to her two daughters still within the pack and wished them all happiness.
Hermes decided to carry on Aether's legacy and begin traveling.

If you wish to host Aether, please take note of these rules:

1. Please don't pairbond her, but you are encouraged to breed her. /b>
2. You are encouraged to add decorations to Aether, but do not remove any from her.
3. You are encouraged to add to her bio, but keep it under 750 characters, and don't remove anything from it.
4. If you keep Aether for more than a week, she'll start to get restless. So make sure to pass her along before then.
5. DO NOT chase Aether under any circumstances. If Aether falls ill and you do not have medicine for her, please contact me and I can send some her way.
6. DO NOT neglect Aether. If you can't take care of her, pass her back to me.
7. Remember that I will be checking on Aether every once in a while. I will notice if she's being mistreated or if any of her decor is missing.
8. Feel free to assign Aether as a scout. She loves exploring.
9. Before you pass her along, a song (song name and artist name) to her bio. This will become part of her travel playlist.

Aether was taken into the pack as a young adult. She became good friends with Pontus and even had a litter of pups that helped her realize what she really wanted from life.
She's fair, adventurous, and smart. She was a scout before becoming a traveling wolf, and loves to explore.
Her adopted mother is Gaea, and she hails from the pack The Elysian Fields.

Lore: Aether was welcomed into the Silver Moon pack, during her stay she made friends with, Seraphina so she stuck by the nursing den as Seraphina was a Pupsitter, she got to watch a few of the pups hit adolescence, and find their place in the pack or given to other packs. She enjoyed her relaxing time with the pack but felt the need to keep moving on in her journey.

Lore: Aether stayed with the Rockford Pack all through the summer months, making connections with the all-female hunting team, the quirky Herbalist male, and a few other individuals from the pack. The odd-eyed little red wolf, Manyara especially took quite a liking to Aether's stories from other packs, and happily listened in on any tips for gaining strength she could get from the older wolf!

Lore: Aether arrived at the Court of Howls just in time to attend the 2nd edition of the Treasure Hunt Challenge. The pack was divided into teams and Aether was asked to join Team Guaiacum led by Aahsa, one of the female huntresses. Unfortunately, the victory went to Team Bearberry, that made use of Aska's, their captain, recent training as a scout to quickly find the prize.
Aether would have really liked to win, but she still spent a good time with some members of the pack. And she managed to keep her pretty guaiacum crown.

Lore: In midwinter, Aether visited the Sun Stealers, who were having a pup crisis. She stayed to help tend the pups until spring, when they were robust enough not to need her aid, and then continued her journey.

Lore: Following the departure of her last destination, Aether had been running across the taiga landscape restlessly and without tiring. Her shimmering blue paint made her appear like a bright streak sprinting through the cliffs and lakes. When she finally spotted something which caught her eye, she slowed to a trot. Upon barreling through these lands, she could see a golden wolf perched atop a tall peak, and she could only assume them to be a pack leader, judging by their posture and adornments.
She very quickly and curiously, made their acquaintance, and got to meet Cheiftan Phillipa. The Cheiftan had welcomed her with dignity, and offered the lively wolf a scouting position, as their newest scout was still in training at the time.
Aether ecstatically accepted, and spent the next few days exploring the Salmonstone's pack territory, with the payment of alerting any danger. When the Scouting position was eventually passed on to the new young wolf, it was time to move on, but not before the Cheiftan expressed her gratitude, and gifted Aether with a quick, bright blue dragonfly companion.

Lore: Aether settled down in the Shadow Slayers for a while but really didn't like it. The pack seemed broken down a misrable during her stay. Two of them were what Lifestealer called breeders and they kept making pups for the pack with wolves they don't know. Aether left soon after. She wanted to get out of that dreadful place.

Lore: Atlas and those that followed him gave Aether a warm welcome. Pups and even a few juveniles crowded close, curious; they'd never beheld such a free-spirited and well-traveled wolf before! After a few moments, Atlas chortled and told his pack to let Aether rest; she'd had a long journey and a place to rest within Atlas' personal lodge awaited her, for as long as she deigned to stay. Though scouting for Initiis Novis was handled, as Scout himself proclaimed in a rather vocal tone, Aether was more than welcome to explore the lands surrounding the pack's territory. At last, warm breezes brought familiar scents to Aether: home.

It was time to return home.

Lore: Aether found her way back to her home in time to weather the winter. Upon her arrival Gaea and the rest of the pack welcomed her and listened eagerly to her stories. Some of the pack remembered her from before she left, many met her for the first time.
Aether found that all of her children had left the pack, which saddened her as she remembered the joy that they had brought her. She decided to mother another litter and was blessed with four lovely pups, which she spend the spring and summer raising to be strong and adventurous. Soon, the breeze began calling her back to the unknown, and Aether knew that though she didn't have much time left, she wanted one more adventure before settling down for the final time.
There were many tears as Aether announced her plans, but she promised to return.

Lore: It was a stormy autumn night when Aether found herself lost in the praire, somewhere south of Elysian Fields. She was cold, hungry and soaked from head to toe as she searched for any shelter in the plains. For the first time perhaps ever, she regretted leaving the warm comforts of her home, and wondered whether traveling alone was the right thing to do at her age. Lightning flashed in the night sky and winds howled, and more than once, Aether feared that she would be struck down or blown away then and there. Why did I have to go south? She lamented. I thought it would be warmer... One more strike, and I may as well dig a hole in the ground to hide in.
Then, somehow, the storm died down. The howling of the wind, which was all around her, now sounded more wolf-like. On the hill ahead there was indeed a pack of wolves, who stood proud and strong, despite the forceful winds. One of them moved down the hill to meet Aether - a young, graceful male with skarn fur in shades of grey, brown, and liver. His gait was relaxed, and when he spoke, he was warm and courteous, knowing that Aether is a traveler, and guided her to The Havre, where she received the warmth and shelter she so needed.
Several major events occured in Yliaster during Aether's stay, the most major one being the death of Yliaster's queen and founder, Stella Signata, whose grandson, Kyllikke Ava'al was named king. She realized that it was the same wolf that had met her in the plains before, but Aether could have sworn that he didn't have that awful scar on his eye the night before, and there were many rumours about that. There was also, of course, the royal wedding, to which she was invited, and another bonding ceremony in Gränsland. While staying at The Havre, Aether enjoyed lavish attention from the Lord of the Havre, who gifted her with purple lunar detritus sparks to match her guaiacum crown. She also taught the pups Sylvi and Hawkbit ambushing techniques, after which little Sylvi told her she wanted to become a traveling wolf just like her!
Soon, winter had come, and Aether feared the worst - that she would be stranded in Yliaster. Luckily, winters in the praire were milder than the autumn she experienced. Most mornings were foggy and still, while the nights were clear and crisp. The beauty of the landscape called out to her, and Aether decided now would be a good time to leave, but not before saying goodbye to the new friends she made along the way.
During the lesson: Aether tied the toy to a string made of straw. She pulled the toy between rocks and bushes and Sylvi had to pounce and steal it without being detected by Aether's keen senses.

Lore: Though her foggy winter, Aether found herself in the Deciduous Forest. Wandering around this beautiful forest She ran into Matalie, Alpha of The Wintermaw Pack.

"And who are you?" she asked with a curious gaze

"My name is Aether, I'm a traveler!"

"Well, if you want you can stay with me till then"

They both padded through the forest through the entrance of two crossed trees. Flooded with young eyes Aether was a little overwhelmed with all the pups around. Matalie introduced her to her son Eden who was also a soon to be traveler, he showed her around the den where she would be staying. After a while Aether settled down bound to sleep when she felt heavy breathing on her flank, she lifted her head to see pups Daisy, Bentli, and Rafalio staring her down.

"Hi! Im daisy and these and litter mates! what's your name?" she tilted her head

"Uh, Aether?" she also tilted her head in response
*the pups giggled *

Suddenly a pretty she-wolf walked through the dense leaves with the look of an angry mother. She quickly pushed the pups out of the den and apologized.

"Sorry about that, I'm callous the mother of all these wolves you see here!"

"The mother??", Aether said with shock

"Not literally," she laughed "but I basically raised them as my own"

After a short talk on the packs back story they said their goodbyes and Aether was left to rest after her long travels. After a few days Aether felt the soft breeze brush through her fur and once again felt the need to explore. She thanked Matalie and everyone else for their kindness but when she turned to leave daisy gave her a gift to remember her by.
