Biography
Brinn is a gentle wolf, with a dark side. She loves to be alone. No wolf would ever dream of being alone, but Brinn would. However, she has a reason for this.
Why she's different -
Brinn was always raised to be social and generous. And she was just that. Growing up, Brinn would play with all the wolves and run around howling. Brinn loved to play, like all the other pups.
When Brinn started training to be a Pupsitter, she noticed another male. His name was Roger. He was a darker color than her and had white all over his pelt. The two started hanging out and spent every amount of time together. Eventually, they decided to be mates when they got older.
Brinn, excited about her new partner, told her family and all the wolves she knew. They were all excited, but one: Brinn's sister, Maly. Maly told Brinn that Roger wasn't as honest as Brinn thought. In fact, Roger didn't even like Brinn. He liked another female named Kari. Kari was a white female who was much older than Brinn, but not much older than Roger. She was part of a Hunting Party.
Brinn didn't believe her sister. But after second thought, decided to watch Roger more closely. She followed him day after day, and not once did he ever go towards the Hunter's Den. One day, Brinn was running out in the forest with her friend, Elane. Elane stopped suddenly and sniffed the air, woofing to stay alert. Brinn also sniffed, and the smell was of blood. Lots of it.
Brinn and Elane, both Pupsitters in training, had no idea of what to do. So, they followed the smell. It led to a small river with fish and rocks. The river wasn't very deep, but luckily they didn't have to cross. The blood was coming from a female, not far. Her white fur was covered with red blood and dirt.
Kari was laying on the ground, she wasn't moving and beside her was another wolf: Roger. Roger was looking down when they found him, but as soon as he heard the other wolves, he looked up and growled a warning. His tail stood on end when he realized it was Brinn, and he ran off into the woods.
Brinn ran over to Kari while Elane howled for help. Kari was dead. It was obvious to see. But her wounds weren't from a fight, they were from birth. Two pups were next to her. One was white with brown markings on its legs and face, just like mom. The other, a boy, was a dark liver color with white markings over his body. He looked exactly like Roger.
Brinn knew Roger had been the father. She could smell him on Kari. Eventually, a Hunting Party arrived with the Herbalist. They took the pups back for a nursing female to raise. Elane and Brinn followed. But halfway home, Brinn stopped. The other wolves kept walking. Elane paused, but Brinn wolfed for her to continue. She did, hesitantly.
Brinn wasn't so sure she wanted to go home. She knew Roger had betrayed her, and she would see him at home. Brinn thought hard about her options and where the other packs were. She remembered a story one of the wolves had told her, of another pack far from here in the Mountains. A Pack where laughter and happiness were praised. Brinn knew she would miss home, but she also knew she would not live with Roger. So, she left. Brinn howled her goodbye and ran towards the mountains.
It took a while, but Brinn made it to her new Pack. The Alpha, Sibella, allowed Brinn to stay. She was given her den at Home Rock and trained with the other wolves. She wasn't alone. She met another male, Glacier. She didn't get too close to him. And he didn't push her either. She was thankful. She also met Tom, another male who didn't seem to mind company, but wouldn't force anyone to be around. He seemed very calm for an adolescent and mostly just wandered around the den.
Brinn stayed away. But she also enjoyed the company of the two. She would never consider them mates, but for now, friends were nice.
