Rime

During the lesson: Fire Star laid out different herbs for Rime to smell with his eyes closed, huffing at him when he attempted to peek. Your nose is your strongest sense when it comes to identifying herbs!

During the lesson: Rime patiently practised using his voice and the strong will was clear in the young pup. The result was still far from an adult wolf but he was definitely not a beginner anymore!

During the lesson: Rime was confused when he could catch the same scent in several spots, but Ellis's smirk explained it all. It was one of those tricky lessons and Rime did everything to prove he was smart enough to track prey effectively.

During the lesson: With Sadie overseeing the ordeal, Rime had to organize, coordinate and help the group move an entire fallen log out of the den. Tiny pups lack the strength on their own, but cooperating as a team can get things done!

During the lesson: For small prey, Corey explained claws are your best asset. She demonstrated to Rime that there are ways to pin prey down and kill with a small bite to the neck, rather than trying to bite the entire piece of prey and ruining it.

During the lesson: Esperanza arranged a lesson where all the puppies roleplayed the life of a pack, changing roles on Esperanza's signal. Rime experienced being a leader but also a subordinate, and realized that every role has its purpose.
