Wise had been a dutiful hunter in her old pack. But, after joining The Souring Summit she believed the role of Pupsitter would better suit her.

When first joining the pack, Wise had a hard time fitting in. Cream took notice of this and decided to befriend Wise. The two ended up hitting it off and have been friends ever since.


History

Wise grew up in The Time Walker pack alongside her sister Hours. She enjoyed her time with her pack greatly, going on hunts and helping care for pups. She eventually had two litters of pups, both with outsiders of the pack.

While her youngest, Daisy, stayed with the pack. Wise's eldest, Walrus, dreamed of a different life and left to join a pack of her choosing. Wise missed her daughter, but understood this longing for a different life, she had felt it herself.

One day when out hunting, Wise ran into a wolf from another pack. The wolf introduced themselves as Cream. Before Wise knew it, moments had passed talking to this stranger. She found the stories of Cream's pack and way of life to be exhilarating. Eventually Wise's pack mates found her, scolding her for disappearing. Wise said goodbye to the stranger, heading back to base with her packmates.

She couldn't get Cream or their back out of her head and started sitting down where she had first seen them for a few moments each day, hoping she could see the stranger again. Cream eventually returned, this time with another wolf. The new wolf introduced themselves as Jet, the pack's leader. He had heard of Wise and wanted to meet her for himself. He told her that his pack was still small, and they were always open for new wolves.

She found herself excited and terrified by the idea of a new pack. While she was reluctant to leave her daughter, she also knew that Daisy was a strong wolf and would be fine without her. She made up her mind to join, and after getting permission from her pack leader, she said a teary goodbye to her family.

The Souring Summit pack was… not what she had imagined. Don't get her wrong, she loved the pack and their way of life, and getting to become a permanent Pupsitter had been great. It's just that she had no idea how to socialize with her new packmates. Everyone seemed so close to each other, she just didn't know how she could ever fit into this already established family. Cream must have taken notice of this because next thing Wise knew, the wolf was spending all their free time with her. Wise enjoyed their company, and Cream acted as a nice buffer as Wise got to know her new packmates.

Wise eventually made friends with her pack, and truly felt like a pack member, not just a guest. She even found herself getting rather close with Silver. He was kind and calm and seemed to know when something was getting Wise down. No one was surprised when the two officially became a pair, or when Wise announced she was pregnant.

Wise gave birth to two pups, a boy, and a girl. Watching as they grew bigger alongside the other pups, eventually becoming hunters, gave Wise a sense of pride she knew she would hold onto.

Wise is getting older now, her body isn't what it used to be. Still, she has a lot left to give her pack and will keep working hard until her last day.

On the 7th year and 6th month of her life, Wise made her way to the mountains summit. Steel and Mud keeping her company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Mud and Wise were greeted by Cream, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
