Biography
Margon was the seventh son of the seventh son, so far down the pack hierarchy that he wasn't even properly trained. Often left to his own devices, he began to find himself in the role of peacekeeper, problem solver, and champion to those other wolves on the outskirts of the large southern pack.
When famine struck their once plentiful valley, Margon wasted little time in gathering those disaffected wolves and striking out to find a new home.
They traveled far and wide, occasionally being joined by others who left their starving packs. After many months they settled in a lush valley, thick with trees- and prey! While he knows he is not the strongest, fastest, or smartest wolf in their little pack, he is determined to ensure that even those wolves who remain aloof on the outskirts remain fed, happy, and trained. They are one pack, and he will treat them as such.
Or so he once thought.
Some years have passed since that optimistic young wolf lead the Crowbones Pack into the forest they call home. In that time he has turned bitter, angry, and even resorted to unsavory deals with unknown gods. Now his territory is in dispute, his pack is falling down around his ears, and something sinister lurks in his shadow, killing his pups before they even quicken. Margon, desperate, hopes that something, anything, will change- before everything he's worked for is destroyed...
