During the lesson: Spero learned that not only the ingredients but also the proportions can change a cure into a poison. He felt a lot more responsible after this lesson.

During the lesson: Spero almost felt guilty when he admitted that he could not find the toy this time, but Heidi II nodded in approval, and explained that it was because she did not actually hide anything during this lesson and it had been a test.

During the lesson: Spero and his littermate practised their howling techniques together, despite complaints of the adults who couldn't sleep in peace.

During the lesson: Today, Dani invented several poses and expressions and Spero had to guess what they meant. He struggled on some of them, but by the end he had gotten better and Dani was impressed with how quickly he learned.

During the lesson: The lesson today focused on relaying information accurately among pack members. Spero sat with several other pups as they whispered the same sentence around the circle and tried to keep it the same, but when it came back to Gray it was hilariously different than when it started.

During the lesson: Spero tested out some killing techniques on the carcass. Darky explained which methods take the most strength, but are also the quickest, which saves energy and spares the prey from suffering.

During the lesson: Caroline explained how different fur colors and patterns made a difference in how Spero would be able to hide. He picked up on it quickly, and soon Caroline couldn't find him!
