One winter's day, Ocean Wave stumbled upon a pure black wolf, who introduced himself as Night Strike. Together, the two longer decided to form a pack. It didn't take long for more wolves to join the pack, starting with Sun Heart and Gray Patch, a mated pair, and then Fallow Nose and Frost Mask. As time when on, the pack grew as more wolves joined the pack and puppies were born. With all the hustle and bustle of everyday life, Ocean Wave, now Ocean Star, had nearly forgotten about starting a family of her own. But one fall evening, Raven Wing, a scout, brought back a snow-colored wolf, Blizzard Frost. It wasn't long until the two fell in love and had puppies of their own. Their first litter was born the following spring. Ocean Star gave birth to four beautiful pups, three females, Wind Pup, Sand Pup, and Dust Pup, and one male, Fire Pup. Unfortunately, as winter came around, three of their four puppies died of an unknown illness that took out much of the pack. Ocean Star and Blizzard Frost's only remaining pup, Wind Pup, weaned and left the nest under the protection of Snow Flake, where she began to learn about teamwork and hunting. As Wind Pup, now Wind Paw, became an apprentice and began learning about hunting with a team and how to lead the pack as the next alpha, Ocean Star and Blizzard Frost decided to have one last litter. However, as Ocean Star was getting older, they were unable to have any more pups.
