Reishi

A very sweet-natured and precocious pup - Reishi's charisma earned him the favor of his pack early on. As he matured, this charisma earned him a reputation among his female packmates. He could not possibly be pinned down by one mate, for his heart had enough love for the whole pack.

He was always fairly easy-going and self-assured, but during his first winter as leader several litters of puppies died in the bitter cold. Even though he was only following their pack traditions, Reishi blamed himself and became a much more careful and calculated ruler, although he also became more quiet and withdrawn.

Reishi led his pack through the utter chaos of the Cataclysms, playing all sides to ensure his pack was safe. In spite of the world literally falling apart around them, not a single wolf was lost to natural disasters, nor to the entities known as cryptids. Once things began to quiet down, Reishi decided it was time to take an active parenting role to some of his pups. He raised Robin Hop, Glowing Cinder, Vixie, and Firefox to be as cunning and observant as he himself.

Eventually he was forced to face the Faeclu, just as his grandfather Portobello had done many years ago. Unable to outwit the mysterious, otherworldly entities, he offered himself to fulfill the An Aonta, leaving this world behind for good.
