Damascus

Damascus is the daughter of Nightshade, from her final litter. She was 7 years old when she became pregnant, and lived to raise her puppies to adolescence. She retired late as Sky Song Pack was short on hunters, and on a hunt fell pregnant by a male named Robin of Element's Guardians, both an accomplished scout and hunter. Miraculously, the entire litter of five survived, considering Nightshade had an inconsistent track record for raising puppies.

Damascus was named for her striking coat and its resemblance to damascus steel. Born the runt of her litter, she had difficulty keeping up with her siblings, but Kaya took notice in her after she went off exploring on her own. Kaya chose her to mentor and become her successor. Damascus was happy with the attention, as she always had to compete with her bigger siblings and wanted to take a separate path from them.

After Damascus finished her training as a scout, Kaya was able to retire and become a mentor to other young wolves.

Damascus served as a scout for a few years before switching rolls to use her expertise she developed as a scout in a stalking roll. After becoming a hunter she had one litter of pups- Rosa, Steel, and Jasper.
