During the lesson: Denni's brow furrowed in concentration as she worked on guessing which herbs placed before her were poisonous and which were not. Gray watched with interest.
During the lesson: Denni was sure that she was the best sniffer there was! No one was able to do it better... But it started to rain, and the scent became much weaker and left her circling in confusion.
During the lesson: Denni practised her voice in a remote spot, a bit ashamed to howl in front of other pups and adults. She didn't feel ready yet.
During the lesson: The lesson today focused on relaying information accurately among pack members. Denni sat with several other pups as they whispered the same sentence around the circle and tried to keep it the same, but when it came back to Gray it was hilariously different than when it started.
During the lesson: The carcass was tied to the tree today. Denni had to grab onto it and with gravity's help, tear it apart with a shearing technique!
During the lesson: Denni learned about hierarchy and the rules within the pack. She was surprised how the adults could always remember all of this.
During the lesson: Bolívar examined Denni's technique while she chased a young stoat. The young pup kept getting discouraged, but she will learn that failures are a part of the lesson.
