Activated Charcoal was an interesting wolf. She seemed to care more about the animals around her than her actual pack. One day, She stumbled upon a bear cub while she was out hunting. The cub was injured and alone. Charcoal tired to find the bear's mother to no avail. Unable to abandon the cub, she took the bear in as her own and raised the cub to an adult. The pack leader, Agouti, told Charcoal that the bear must go now that it had reached adulthood. Heartbroken, She let her adopted child go, but visited the bear often. During a recent war, Charcoal was captured by a rival pack and chained to a post in the pack's cave. Upon noticing its mother's absence, the bear decided to go searching. Finding out its mother had been captured, the bear destroys the rival pack, freeing its mother. The bear is welcomed back into Agouti's pack for its loyalty, a beloved new member of the pack.
