Biography
{it/its} ćautistic + muteć
One winter, when the moon was absent from the sky, Dakota left for a noon foraging trip, but did not return until noon the next day. She still seemed to be in a trance when met by her worried mate, baring her fangs and standing protectively over the precious bundle between her paws. Once it passed, she reported to the Alpha that she recalls hearing a distant, mournful howl, then she feels as though she walked a long, long distance in a deep fog before falling asleep. She does not know where the pup she arrived with came from, nor the reason she feels so deeply protective of it. Dakota also presents the Alpha with the herbs she had with her when she awoke-- Cedar Bark, and Meadowsweet. "Cedar Bark on its own may not be odd, this plant however. This isn't native to this land. Something strange is going on."
Seelie has always suffered from night terrors, but has never divulged any hints as to what plagues its dreams. Seelie keeps to itself and has the unnerving ability to almost fade into the background. Few in the pack have actually heard its voice, and they aren't exactly keen to change that, given the aura that Seelie gives off of something being not quite right. When one does speak to Seelie, its eyes seem to look straight off into some unfathomable distance, and its words seem hollow and often cause one to wonder if there is truly a wolf's spirit residing within this strange pup. Occasionally Seelie will be stricken with bouts of grief or anger, and when these happen it will disappear for some time before returning silently as a ghost, bestowing upon its mother some strange healing herb with that same far away look in its eyes.
[Mate's Biography]
A gentle and observant wolf. Zora is one of the few in the pack who is not put off by Seelie's presence. In fact, Zora finds socializing quite draining, and will sooner seek out Seelie's silent companionship than that of a chattier pack member. He may seem like an odd choice for pupsitter based off his temperament, however he is surprisingly patient with the pups, and never loses track of his charges.
His role switched to that of a mentor for pups after Zora became knowledgeable enough-- he was 5 years and 1 month.
