Griselda is not the name she was given at birth, but rather a name she took on after leaving behind one phase of her life. Roughly translated it means aged battle, an apt description of where she came from. Griselda's birth pack was destroyed when she was still an adolescent, still a student of her mothers teaching, both spiritual and mystical.
