So... Guardian Signs. Like Gates to Infinity, I named him after one of my favorite Pokemon games and well, favorite games in general. I have many memories tied to it - fun ones at that. I've admittedly never gotten the chance to play the first two Pokemon Ranger games, so I don't have a comparison for Guardian Signs, but regardless, its just a very fun game. It's a great mix of cool as hell and goofy as hell while sometimes serious, and no aspect ever feels too strong. I mean, the main villains of the game are a bunch of old people (former thieves) who you first meet as they're having a tea party - and they're called the fuckin Societea. But their motivation is legit and also THEY FUCKING BLOW UP AN ENTIRE ISLAND And there's just nothing cooler than summoning Legendary Pokemon by drawing their sign and riding them across the map. more to be added.
