Snow had always been a tracker. But once her mate passed, she decided to take on the role of the pack's Mentor.

Snow and Opal spent most of their early days in the pack hunting alongside each other. They enjoyed each other's company greatly, even if their personalities clashed from time to time.


History

Snow was a young pup when her parents died, a sickness crossing the forest where they lived. Snow was lucky and didn't catch the sickness, however, her parents were not. She spent several days with her parents' bodies, unsure what to do or how to hunt. Three days later and she was starving, that was when another young wolf and adolescent named Mud found her. Seeing the poor pup, he found her something to eat before helping her bury her parents' bodies. He told her that he was alone too, trying to find a new place to call home. Smiling, he asked Snow if she would join him, she was reluctant to leave her parents but knew they would want her to live. Agreeing, the two head off together, hoping to find someplace to call home.

For years the two traveled together, Snow learned to hunt quickly, and she found herself especially to be a skilled tracker. While she got tons of praise from Mud, she was humble about it. Now an adult, over a year old, she and Mud met a strange wolf. Jet was also in search of a new home; he was alone but looking for wolves to join his pack. Having similar goals, Snow and Mud agreed to join Jet's pack, the three making their way to the mountains, Jet was sure there would be a home waiting there for them.

There was a home there indeed. The group set up a den for the three of them and even met their fourth pack member, another loner named Opal. The group became comfortable, setting into their daily tasks, Mud and Jet would go explore and patrol, while Opal and Snow would hunt. Within this comfort, the pack began to think of the future. Snow and Mud had thought of pups a few times, finding their relationship turning romantic as the two of them got older. However, Mud was infertile, meaning the two having pups was just a distant dream. One day when telling this story to their other pack members, Jet and Opal offered an alternative. Jet could help Snow get pregnant and then she and Mud could raise the pups. After discussing it for a few days, the two agreed. Four months later and the boys, Silver, and Speck were born.

Snow and Mud couldn't have been happier. Once they were weaned Snow began to hunt again, with Mud becoming the pupsitter for the pack, happily looking after his sons and the other pups. Snow has only grown more skillful at her hunting abilities, being the prized tracker of her pack. She is especially happy now that one of her pups, Silver, is a part of her hunting group.

While out hunting, Snow discovered an orphan pup living with Lillemor. Knowing the pain of being an orphan herself, both Snow and Mud decided to adopt the young pup. They named her Rose, and she is a beloved addition to the family.

All three of Snow's pups are now fully grown and respected members of the pack. Snow really couldn't be prouder. One of them even recently had a litter of pups, Snow adores being a grandmother.

Sadly though, Snow's closest friend, Opal, passed away. Snow misses her greatly but finds comfort in the fact that her friend had a long and happy life. She will see her again when her time comes but for now, she will enjoy the life she has left.

After her mate, Mud passed. Snow decided to retire from hunting and take over her mate's job as the packs Mentor. She has always loved working with pups and is excited to teach the future generations. Though, she does miss hunting with her packmates.

On the 7th year and 6th month of her life, Snow made her way to the mountains summit. Steel keeping her company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Snow was greeted by Mud, who gently guided her to the afterlife.
