Hey, I'm Red Velvet, one of Alpha Mudslide's last puppies born. Mirage and Roan were my sisters, but were killed as pups which was a plan set up by the Moon Brothers. My older brother, Singed Bark, sent me off to a neighboring pack when I was still a pup so I could be safer. Mother never protected me well despite me being an heir, and her careless nature caused the death of my little sisters...

I decided to return to the pack when I reached my first birthday! The whole pack was happy to see me, and I met new faces. Unfortunately, Mudslide didn't care much. Neither did the Moon brothers, who thought I ran off and possibly died somewhere else. Nope! I returned happy and healthy. Too strong for the Moon brothers to dispose of now! They got the punishment they deserved when I was in a new pack, and that was an exhile. They even caused my brother to get long scratches from a bear on his shoulder.

I quickly became a skilled chaser. Fast and swift! I was accompanied by my new found friends Smelting Sands and Sunlight II in our own hunting trio. We were proven to be great hunters despite our miss match personalities, and we shocked even the best hunting teams in the pack with all the large prey we brought to the pack, especially during winter. Our hunting team are great cow hunters, and elk slayers. We even caught a fully grown bison! An animal our pack thought went extinct!

I... secretly have a crush on Smelting Sands, and I didn't realize until a year after we became a team. Although she had pups with my older brother who passed earlier, I still want to be with her. We both miss Singed Bark, and I hope taking his place and helping her raise the pups will make her happy again.

On June 26th, I finally confessed my love to Smelting, but she didn't give me a clear answer. No answer at all actually. It's been over a year since Singed died. Was it still too soon to ask? I really hope she answers soon, because I'm starting to get anxious..
