Demi-god of the Wind and Seas...shapeshifter. Now a wolf of the Storme Pack. Maui has been having a difficult couple of weeks, first the wisps appeared, then reports of missing wolves, then his mate Elaerra has been spending less time with him because she's been helping another pack. Then she comes home talking about enemy Fae-wolves and old pacts that are broken, the differences between Faelcu and Storm-Fae...she gets a third eye, her eyes change color. He could've lived with all that, no big deal...but, then she found Baelohrna. Baelohrna who was always telling him how much better everywolf else is than him, how much better Elaerra is, how even her magic is better, 'she doesn't need a fish hook!', and, 'more magic in her paw!'...so, he told her off, so what?! But no, Elaerra got mad, so mad it rained on him, thunder, lightning, the works! As she told him he's got a new job! 'Go make a fur soap, so we can wash off the stink paste! I want everyone's fur silky, smooth, nice smelling!', she yelled. She howled and growled, it stormed...so off he goes to make soap! As he searches for ingredients for the second week in a row, Maui finds something very disturbing...a pile of bones, with a wolf skull, three wolf pup skulls, rotting meat and Baelohrna's fur! And her funny moss ring! No...no...oh, no...there are wolf tooth marks in the skulls...oh, no! 'What...have I done!? Elaerra!!', Maui howls, backing away, 'I found Baelohrna! Well... what's left of her...'...not long after this, a strange wolf decided to visit the pack. Maui sensed what he was, but if Elaerra allows a visitor, you don't question it! Bandit wouldn't listen, not about the guest, or anything...in fact he lashed out and attacked Maui, mauling him badly so that Jarrol had some work to do to fix the damage. Well, at least the visitor has something he wants, and the pack is safe, now. Maui is focusing on his Mentor job, and his fur soap making...the recipe is almost right...just needs one more thing. Maui was happy, he'd finished making soap, was finally forgiven for Baelohrna, and was playing with his whale bone fish hook. Then he heard commotion deeper in the camp. 'Guess I better check it out', he thought, and walked that way. Atrina was gone, apparently, and Ahrk, too... banished for trying to eat Atrina? This is just not Maui's day. No, now Elaerra puts him in charge over the pupsitters as they guard the pups all day. At least, he can play with and entertain the pups.
