Pack Role: Pupsitter
Mate: Dia
Pronouns: He/Him
The world is my playground! he thinks as he hops happily between the breaching stones of the river. Sure his family may have found his imagination and playfulness cute when he was a pup, but now as a yearling they're not as enthusiastic about it. "Get serious we need you to hunt for the family!" is what his parents had told him yesterday when they found him leading his baby brothers on yet another adventure. He didn't get what the big deal was after all his older sisters and brothers stayed around to do the hunting. He just wanted to have fun with the pups! He huffed scornfully landing on yet another rock with a happy bounce.
"Well I guess I'll just have to find another place to go and have my adventures alone!" declaring this out loud he barks happily and leaps to the next rock, but he doesn't notice the slime covering it until too late. Suddenly Rushing down river quickly he lets out a yelp in terror the current much to strong after this season's rains! His head plunges under and he knows he's a goner. Suddenly teeth grab his scruff and pull him from the current until he's spluttering safely on dry land. He looks to his savior
A female wolf he thinks as he takes in her steady gaze. "I'm Sydel." her voice is gentle calming his racing heart. "Thallow!" he says glancing at her eyes briefly and then opening his mouth to let his tongue loll in a goofy grin her way, "Do you like adventures?"
Autumn year 1
His charge,
Tiana, the future heir of the pack. Gone. And on his watch. He was disgusted with himself. He was the greatest pupsitter in this pack! The puppies loved him because he was the fun one! The one with no rules, just play! She died because of his lack of responsibility. He had never seen the need for seriousness when playing was always more fun. Now though, he knew. It was time he grew up. There was a time for play and a time for rules, and it was well past time for him to learn that balance. He would never forgive himself his laxness even if his lead and her mate did. Never would he allow this to happen again!
