Smelting Sands, 'Road Runner' of the Galactic Ones (Badlands BG)

Smelting Sands is the mate of Singed Bark, prince of the pack. She is the polar opposite of him. Smelting is very aggressive and has a short temper, much like Singed's friend, Moon Quake. Singed is more distant from Smelting because of how much she reminds him of who used to be his friend, but Smelting always says he too much of a coward and a baby.

Smelting is friends with Red Velvet, the younger brother of Singed Bark. Though they have their little scuffles, she still respects him. Smelting sometimes talks to other siblings of Singed, like Sahara or Little Starling, but she usually doesn't get along with any of them. She works much better with Red Velvet, and it shows when they hunt together. Despite them both specializing in speed, Velvet and Smelting have brought home many cows and a few horses to the pack, making them excellent hunters despite their clashing personalities.

Smelting Sands is one of the fastest wolves in the history of the pack, though her sister-in-law Starling, is the fastest wolf currently, which makes her jealous.

Just a few days before she was due to give birth, Singed Bark died from his injuries after a hunting accident. Smelting was devastated, as she was now all alone. Her mate was gone, and she grew much more distant from her siblings-in-law, but Velvet stayed by her side the whole time despite him trying to push her away.
