Given the name Soot Fall by the Caste. No longer a Young-kin, and named as a Hunting Apprentice, to be trained in the art of the chase, and assigned to the skilled and most valued chaser, Light Step.

Pup found during a scout patrol, led by Smoldering Embers, slathered in dark soot-looking mud. Granted the name Soot, and taken in as a young-kin, to be mothered by Snake Reeds.
