The foolish pup wandered too far outside our borders and got eaten by an alligator.

Gold was missed severely by Cobble and Crisp, as she was one of the pups in their first litter. The other was Reba.

Who would have expected such an end for a child?

Well, we all thought it would be much less wild.

The pupsitter meant well, as we all know,

But, alas, sometimes you are just too slow.

A beautiful and bright pup she was, little Gold.

But it turns out her intentions were just a bit too bold.

For now, as we mourn her, let us remember her love

And hope that we think of her by the feather of a dove.

And we all know, yes, we all know, she wouldn’t like to see us cry

So let us wish her a safe trip to her afterlife high up in the sky.

So long, Gold.
