Blackfell the Wise

Blackfell was among the first wolves from the wilds to follow Larka the Skysinger and aide her in forming the Starcallers. He was bestowed the title of "the Wise" for his astute counsel and patient nature. He was originally the pack's first herbalist, but that never sat quite right with him as he was a strong believer that male wolves should serve only as guardians of the young. When the Starcallers drew up their pact and put that practice into law, Blackfell was proud to serve out the rest of his days as the first among the pupsitters. His sage wisdom proved invaluable to Larka in those early days, and he remained one of her closest friends until his death in the third year of the pack.
