Scouty

It all started already when Scouty was a mere pup. More than other puppies, she already crawled a lot and explored the nest.
When she was bigger, and able to explore the Den, Scouty had it all down in one day and saw various wolves leave. She wanted to VERY badly as well.
Whilst suffering through her entire puppyhood, Scouty learned various roles from within the pack whilst being tutored. Including Scouts.
Whilst being Tutored by the Scouts, Scouty herself couldn't help but be filled by an indescribable feeling. Her new dream, her new passion, was to become a Scout from that day on.

After training -and suffering- through her entire puppyhood, completely dedicated to become a Scout, Scouty was an adult. But not a Scout yet. All the roles were filled. However, Ashen saw how much she suffered under this and started to train her up further. Without overprotective parents, she was now able to go with him and help with missions. He taught her all she knows, and more, and saw how passionate she was about this. And that's when he knew; Scouty would fill his role when he were to pass on. Usually, only Herbalists were to choose there heirs, but this time, an exception was made for how purely passionate Scouty was for the Scout role, and all the work she put into it.

Ashen eventually passed whilst protecting Nellie, and Scouty filled the role. As said, she defined the role for Scouts. Not only did she carry out actual scouting missions, but a lot of duties were added to the role. For example, Scouts are now messengers, as well. In addition to filling in for some other roles, such as when a position in a Hunting Party falls through for one day, and gathering extra herbs for the Herbalist.

Speaking of Herbalists, Scouty got especially close with Heather, the outsider Herbalist. She was a quiet and shy wolf and Scouty was outgoing and reckless, often ending up in the Herbalist den for patching up. Whilst Heather was usually soft spoken... she got a lot louder with Scouty nearby whenever she would proclaim that she 'accidentally stepped on an extra big, humongous black and white hedgehog' or something alike.

It took them quite a while to get together, and they didn't have a lot of time because they were both already nearing the old age. Heather eventually passed on, which left her student to patch up Scouty, and Chaira was not anywhere as friendly or gentle as Heather always was.

Scouty knew she would pass on too. She was extremely sad, and confused. Because she was not sad about dying. It would allow her to rejoin with Heather in the Dynasty. However...
She was not going to be able to be a Scout anymore.

Her love and passion for scouting was one unmatched by any other Scout in the past. This was seen by the spirits... And they allowed her to live, and continue scouting. Scouty can pass on anytime she wishes, but she's been living in doubt for a very long time.
She wants to continue, but to pass on to the Dynasty would mean to see heather again, who's possibly up there waiting for her... But knowing Heather, she would claim she'd want Scouty to keep on living and carrying out her dream. On the other hand...

Confusion has still got her, but for now she is too scared to pass on and say goodbye to Scouting. She is even looking for a way to bring back her lover...
