DappleDust

Dapplepup was found at the Trading Center by Honeymoon, who was immediatly charmed by the spotted puppy's personality. Honeymoon took Dapplepup and named him after his fur, which looked similar to the ground dappled in sunlight. Dapplepup was easily loved within the pack, his charming personality encouraging other wolves to spend time with him. Dapplepup especially liked to spend time with Duskpaw, who was energetic and kind towards him.

Dapplepaw was a wise and smart apprentice, being willing to adapt to tough situations and solving problems with a quickness not often seen. One day, while his hunting party was chasing a particulary swift hare, they ran over a cave system. Their trampling over the hollow earth caused the groud to break and the entire hunting party fell it. Every wolf in the hunting party woke up confused and disoreinted, the light falling in from above into the rubble of the cave. The wolves found they couldn't climb out of the hole, being much too high to leave. Blueblaze pointed out that the caves likely had an opening as hollows in the earth didn't come from nowhere, especially none as large as the one they were stuck in. The rest of the group agrees and begin to walk through the cave, to no avail as the cave seemed to go on for ages. The group was starting to get anxious and hungry, having not eaten that day. Dapplepaw noticed his group's growing distress and took the situation into his paws by searching around for any means of an escape.

Dapplepaw thinks about the hole they fell in and gets and idea. He leads the group out of the tunnels to the hole opening and tries to jump up onto the edge of the hole opening, failing but managing to reach a paw on it's edge. The crew looks at him in confusion, knowing that trying to jump out the hole is futile; the hole was too tall. Afterwards, Dapplepaw
