History
As he got older, he spent more time with the hunters of the pack, hoping to become a chaser once he was an adult. Once an adolescent, his mother agreed he was old enough to join her and the other hunters on chases. He was a diligent and observant apprentice, working hard and enjoying the work.
Silver missed seeing his brother around, with Speck choosing the role of a Scout. Though Silver couldn't deny the role was perfect for his brother, as long as he was happy it was fine.
Now able to contribute to the hunts, Silver realized that Chasing wasn't for him, and that he was much more skilled at Finishing. Reaching adulthood, he became the Finisher for his mother's hunting team. Getting to work alongside his mother, and his close friend Lapis, is very fulfilling for Silver.
It wasn't long until Silver and Speck got a new sibling, their parents adopting a young pup. Silver likes Rose, they have a lot in common. When Rose chose the role of a hunter, Silver jumped on the chance to help train her. It was nice to spend so much time with his little sister.
Silver found himself growing close with another wolf in his pack, Wise. He had noticed how much difficulty the wolf was having fitting into pack life, so he began to spend more time with her. Turns out they got along rather well. Wise was so kind, and took her duties very seriously, which was something Silver respected and related to. No one was surprised when the two officially became a pair, or when Wise announced she was pregnant.
Wise gave birth to two pups, a boy, and a girl. Silver made sure to take time out of each day to spend with Wise and his pups. He was so proud to watch them grow, and even prouder when they chose the role of hunters.
Silver's father and mate have recently passed, with his mother taking on the role of pack mentor. He is slowly working through his grief, not sure how to go back to normal with such important wolves in his life being gone. At least he still has his mother, siblings, and pups for comfort.
It wasn't long later that his mother passed as well, Silver knew she didn't have long left, but it still hurt to lose her all the same. He decided to take up her job as Mentor, someone had to do it and he knew Speck wouldn't want the job. It's a lot different to his current job but he enjoys the more peaceful days of a mentor.
In the last months of his life, Silver began to help raise a young wolf named Finch. The pup had come from a neighboring pack, he had fierce allergies, and his pack believed the fresh air of the mountains would be more suited to him. Silver loved the pup dearly and acted as a guardian for the pup, he was happy that he lived long enough to watch Finch reach adolescence.
On the 7th year and 6th month of his life, Silver made his way to the mountains summit. Steel and Speck keeping him company through most of the journey. Once at the top, looking out at the endless sky, Speck and Silver were greeted by their parents, Snow and Mud, who gently guided them to the afterlife.
