Nena

Nena is the daughter of a fleeing traveler. She was the only pup in her litter.

Nana had mistakenly traveled too close to her original pack, staying in a neighboring pack. Choking Smoke, a scout, spotted the two walking. Choking Smoke confronted them, he immediately curated a plume of smoke to suffocate Nena and Nana. Nana fled, loosely carrying Nena, but unfortunately she grew too weak and had not enough strength to save Nena. She she dropped the pup and ran.

Choking Smoke picked up the young pup, taking her to The Mystical Wonders. He sympathized with the pup, but informed Mind Breaker on the situation. Mind Breaker suggested they keep her as bait for Nana to return home.

Nena, despite being so young, was hurt. She was in disbelief that her mother had even abandoned her. Nena cried for days. Lonely in the prisoners den that was recently constructed.

Nena sulked in the prisoners den, she was in a cage woven with sticks and thorns, and was barely fed enough to survive. She's only heard harsh words towards her, so one day she escaped, yet not for long. She had scratched herself on the thorns, but ran and was free for only a couple hours, she made herself a bearberry crown before being caught and punished horribly for escaping.

Nena is around 25% dog, so she has some behaviors that usually, a dog would only exhibit. She often gets made fun of for these odd little quirks.

Nena grew tough and a accepted that her mother was never coming for her. She's overheard MindBreaker discussing with the beta about moving her to the warriors den, so she lives with a small spark of hope. Nena wishes to have even just a hint of freedom, she spent quite litteraly, her whole life chained in a dark corner being thrown scraps and entertaining herself with bugs.

Early into adulthood, Nena sprouted antlers! Just like her mother.

Her Mother arrived in the prisoners den one day, she expected to be happy to see her, but all she felt was rage. She had abandoned her! LEFT HER TO DIE! Nena hated Nana, she screamed at her old mother, not even letting her explain herself. Nena was shocked how simmilar they both were, and she hated it.

Nena was freed when the pack split into four, she joined the lone ridge, and lived a happy, fulfilled life. She had one pup, which she decided to name after herself. The pup was Nina, and she too, grew a pair of antlers. More alike to her grandmothers, but she loved her nonetheless.
