Pup: Midsummer lay in the sun, her pelt soaking in the suns heat, around her the pack lay, the laziest of days had arrived, summer days! Lotus, her mother and the packs beta were walking into the middle of the group, eyeing her pup. "Summer, it's time to train. Let's go meet Toby by the river." She sighed, rising to her paws to follow her mother. Her eyes skipped ahead, the ferns were moving with the light breeze, a nice change from the heat. She looked up to her mothers indigo eyes before bounding ahead, the forest floors debris rising into the air and into her pelt. "Summer!" Lotus barked, her voice was not annoyed but rather amused. "You know, you're a pawful Summer." She barked in agreement before returning to her mothers side. Her eyes widened as she saw the river, the sun was shining on the water, turning back to her mother who was already heading towards Toby, she rushed over to catch up with her mother, eyes bright when Toby, the leader of the pack faced her with a kind expression on his face. "Hello Midsummer, Hello Lotus, training starts today!" His voice was soft, leading them down the riverbed. "Today you will practice swimming, Midsummer, so get in." Her ears perked, staring at the river.. It seemed shallow, but what if it was actually deep? She stepped back, yet her anxiety must've shown on her face. "It's okay, I'll be here on the shore in case something happens, Summer." Lotus spoke softly. Encouraged, she stepped forward into the water. It barely went to her shoulders.. She turned back, watching Toby enter the water aswell and lead her to the deeper water. "Just swim, you'll get it in no time."
