Ahote is an older wolf, but he is a strong one nevertheless. He joined the pack later than the others, but he provides ample services to the pack by being a chaser in the main hunting party. Though he is strong, he is also anxious and often submits to the other wolves in the pack, as if he is trying to cement his place among them. His name means "restless one".
